Felix Awotwi is a Ghanaian portrait and figurative artist who lives and works in Accra, Ghana. Awotwi creatively explores the use of ropes and acrylics to create the subjects in his composition. The visually experiential work of Felix Awotwi invites us to observe and resonate with the microcosmic portrayal of his local community, which despite its distinct and independent individuality, shares a sense of interconnectedness that transcends any terrestrial boundary. The strategic arrangements of ‘dry-line’ ropes form the blueprint of his aesthetic experience.
