MIMMO ROTELLA

Born in 1918, the Italian artist is considered an important figure of postwar European art. He completed his art education at the Art School of Naples. While he was in Rome he was inspired by torn posters all over the city and began to carry them to his studio and work on them. His works from this period emphasizes the Street language of abstract and poetic. He died in 2006.
