1949 British-born British sculptor Tony Cragg is one of the world’s most distinguished contemporary sculptors, utilizing both nature and industrial systems to create a new sculptural language.
Creating a distinctive language of sculpture, Cragg explores the complex relationships of the naturally existing and the man-made. Winner of prestigious art awards such as the Turner Prize, Praemium Imperiale Award, Lifetime Acheivement in Contemporary Sculpture Award, Cragg also represented his country, England, at the 43rd Venice Art Biennale.
