Everything Has its Place

Everything Has Its Place, curated by Dr. Kathy Battista, opens at the gallery September 30th. Featuring a group of twenty international contemporary artists, the exhibition presents a new interpretation of the classical still life genre, from more traditional paintings and watercolors to hand-tinted photographs, video installations, and sound performance. Everything Has Its Place disrupts the genre by acknowledging the depth and complexity of the twenty-first century artistic landscape. The exhibition, which will be accompanied by a series of talks and performances, can be seen at Sevil Dolmacı Art Gallery until November 2.
