SEVİL DOLMACI GALLERY IS AT BODRUM RUINS HOTEL WITH THE ‘GOLDEN HOUR’ EXHIBITION CONSISTENT OF THE WORKS OF THE WORLD’S LEADING ARTISTS

Sevil Dolmacı Gallery has undertaken a special project where luxury experience is accompanied by art, with Ruins Hotel located in Tilkicik Bay in Bodrum. A remarkable selection of sculptures and paintings by world-renowned Turkish and international contemporary artists will meet art lovers in the sophisticated atmosphere of Ruins Hotel on July 16. The ‘Golden Hour’ exhibition will continue to meet art lovers until September 15.

Sevil Dolmacı Gallery is creating a special exhibition with Ruins Hotel, adding a new one to its striking collaborations that bring together historical textures with contemporary art.

In the summer months, when the interaction of light and time is most striking, works of art stand out in living spaces, shining like jewels. The Golden Hour exhibition invites art lovers to a unique experience in Bodrum with a selection of foreign and Turkish contemporary artists, in the atmosphere of Ruins Hotel that combines elegance and luxury. Striking works, from Jeppe Hein sculptures that Sevil Dolmacı Gallery has recently started working on, to Mexican artist Bosco Sodi’s paintings, from Haluk Akakçe’s works to Ekrem Yalçındağ’s paintings, are presented to the audience.

Golden Hour opens the doors of a colorful and entertaining world to the audience. Works that are organically integrated into the texture of living spaces, the mirror, which is a sometimes colorful, sometimes illusionistic material that includes the viewer, and stainless steel three-dimensional works are both entertaining and mediate the confrontation with today’s realities. The facts about today are individuals’ own realities and changing moods… The works in question, which are integrated with the hotel, consist of works that accompany the spirit of the place, relax people and have a kind of peaceful aura. Colorful balloons produced by Jeppe Hein, Bosco Sodi’s work titled Red Sunset, which gave its name to the exhibition, Haluk Akakçe’s impressive Mr. Nobody and Ozan Oganer’s Mirror Mirror Tell Me are among the most striking works of the exhibition. At the same time, Tony Cragg Spring sculpture, Rafael Gomez Barros installation of spoons, Robert Indiana Hope works, Ekrem Yalçındağ’s Impressions, Ahmet Oran’s Sunset are among the highlights of the exhibition.
