Sevil Dolmaci Dubai, is proud to present “Unreal Realities,” an exhibition that navigates the
delicate interplay between the essence of nature and the juxtaposition of the unreal world
created by human creativity.
“Unreal Realities” showcases works by Robert Janitz, Ekrem Yalçındağ, Ahmet Oran, Fuse*,
Ali Nassir, Nejat Satı, Jacopo Di Cera, Gençay Aytekin, Ryaskartstyle Dmitry Mironov,
Fabrizio Plessi, Igor Skaletsky and Sinan Saül. The exhibition plays on the intricate dance
between the world that is and the world that could be, with its diverse array of artists and
mediums, from oil on canvas to heavy gel to digital artworks. Through these mediums each
artist explores their individual relationship with nature and reality. Inspired by a multitude of
sources – including the illusion of perfection and immortality through digital images, ancient
cave paintings, the intricate patterns of human cells, the vivid colors of daily life, and even
the simple motion of spreading butter on bread, each artist highlights the versatility of their
artistic expression.
The exhibition helps artists blur the boundaries between different perceptions of reality.
Aiming to immerse visitors in a world where the lines between the natural and the artificial
are not just blurred, but beautifully intertwined. Each piece in this exhibition invites the
viewer to reconsider what is real, encouraging a personal reflection on their relationship with
nature. Creating a dialogue between the artists and the audience, it becomes an invitation
to experience the ways in which reality can be perceived and interpreted in the modern
world.
Located in the heart of Dubai Design District, Sevil Dolmaci Dubai is dedicated to
presenting exhibitions by historically influential artists while supporting the creative
ambitions of emerging talent. Focusing on contemporary art, the gallery represents a wide
range of global artists. “Unreal Realities” a part of the exhibition series “Real/Unreal” will run
with a rotating selection of works and artists from 27 March 2024 until 30 August 2024
