SARA LUDY

Sara Ludy is an American artist born in 1980, known for her interdisciplinary approach that blends nature, existence, and simulation. Her work explores themes of immateriality and consciousness, questioning how we relate to the digital and physical worlds. Ludy’s art has been showcased in prominent galleries and museums such as Bitforms Gallery in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and Berkeley Art Museum. Her work has been featured in major publications like Modern Painters, The New York Times, Art Forum, and Art in America.

Ludy’s art has been sold at auction multiple times, with prices ranging from $3,216 to $15,120, the latter being the highest recorded price for her work, achieved by Sky Lapis at Sotheby’s New York in 2021. Her video works can also be viewed at Sevil Dolmacı Art Gallery. Ludy has been highlighted in publications such as FAD Magazine, ArtDaily, ARTnews, and Art Viewer, where her recent feature on Art Brussels 2024 was published.

Currently, Sara Ludy resides and works in New Mexico.
