Cosmic Microwave

Born in 1983, Theodore Boyer graduated from the New York School of Visual Arts in 2012. Between 2010-2020, he took part in solo and group exhibitions in many cities such as Mexico City, New York, California, Texas.

Theodore Boyer’s practice in sculpture and painting provides tools for personal exploration through studies of astrology, astronomy, anthropology, mysticism. Using intense pigments in his paintings, Boyer plays games on perspective by creating different textures through spills, stains and splashes.

The artist, who participated in the Sevil Dolmacı Art Residency Program in the fall of 2021 and stayed in Istanbul for a month, can see his new works inspired by Istanbul on the second and third floors of Villa İpranosyan between April 15 and May 4.
